Fred the Bear enjoys leafing through a Booklist magazine in the Hooksett Public Library's new comfortable reading area. When life's hectic pace becomes un"bear"able, try out the new rocking chairs, prop your feet up on a comfy ottoman, and enjoy a hot beverage from the coffee and tea bar. Also on display in this area, you can celebrate Banned Books Week (9/23 - 9/30) by checking out the selection of books that have been challenged in the past for a variety of reasons. In honor of the 25th anniversary of Banned Books Week, the ALA says, "Read Banned Books - They're Your Ticket to Freedom!"
