Bead Jewelry Workshop @ Your Library

Tuesday, May 10 at 6:00 p.m. - Please join Linda & Shana from Soulful Jewelry Designs for a bead jewelry presentation and workshop for beginners. Space is limited. Please register before Friday, May 6, by speaking with a library staff member. There is a $13.00 registration fee to cover the cost of materials for making a bracelet.

Underground Railroad - Presentation

Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. - Eleanor Strang will present a slideshow about the local and national history of the Underground Railroad, the secret network in the years before the Civil War which assisted fugitive slaves as they escaped to freedom.

Genealogy Research - Workshop

Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. - Muriel Normand, Director of the Board of the American-Canadian Genealogical Society, will provide a basic introduction to Ancestry Library Edition and Heritage Quest Online, two online resources that are available @ your library!

A presenter from the Center for College Planning will discuss planning and savings basics, how financial aid is awarded, what help is REALLY available and information for parents of students of all ages! Family Fun - Edible Books Contest!

April 9 from 9am - 12pm - Individuals and groups of all ages are welcome to participate in this year's "Edible Books" contest by creating something edible that represents a book title. Help us kickoff National Library week with a morning of fun family activities, voting for contest winners and an awards ceremony!
