Week 1 of our summer program was a big hit!! We had 60 children come in to participate in all the week's events. Wednesday , July 7th, was our first Minute To Win It contest. We had so much fun!! One by one the kids had to try to keep 2 balloons up in the air for a full minute! There were 4 winners for this contest. Next they had to blow a bubble from a wand, then blow that bubble through a hoop that was 10 feet away!! There were 10 winners for this race! Can't wait to see what the kids will be doing for the next Minute To Win It contest! Also during this first week, everyone made inner tube markers to track all their reading time. Some have already made it to 10 hours of reading!! Great Job! Class wall decorations were also made. What grade will have the most participants?? Also a special Thank You to Susanne Fournier for coming in to talk about Water Safety. Keep Safe everywhere you go this summer!!
