Visit our new eReaders for Loan webpage to learn how you can borrow eReaders from your library using your Hooksett Library Card. Try out the Nook Classic, Nook Color or the Sony Reader, and learn more about these new reading devices. You can also sign in to the NH Downloadable Books website with your library card number and search and browse the library's growing eBook collection online. Check out eBooks and download and transfer them to your personal computer or eReader device!

Monday, June 20 through Tuesday, August 23 - Visit the library and pick up your Novel Destinations Bingo Card. Celebrate Fiesta Day @ Your Library

Wed., July 20 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. - Visit the library and join in the fiesta @ your library! Wear something that celebrates a Spanish speaking culture and you may win a gift card from our sponsor, Shorty’s Mexican Restaurant! NH Cemeteries & Gravestones @ Your Library

Thursday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. - Rubbings, photographs, and slides illustrate the rich variety of gravestones to be found in our own neighborhoods, but they also tell long-forgotten stories. Find out more about these deeply personal works of art and the craftsmen who carved them! Sponsored by the Hooksett Historical Society in association with the Hooksett Public Library. Pirate Appreciation Day @ Your Library

Wednesday, June 15 from 9am - 8pm - Ahoy mateys! Come check out the HPL's staff decked out in Pirate gear. Learn how to talk like a pirate using Mango's Pirate Course for free (through June 30th). Bring the kids and make eye patches in the Children's Room. If they learn a phrase in Pirate, share it with a staff member and you can win a prize from our bountiful Treasure Chest full of booty!
